Authorise Amazon SP-API access

Updated 14 Aug 2026

MiniTaka connects to Amazon through Selling Partner API (SP-API), the official integration Amazon publishes for tools like ours. You approve the connection inside Seller Central, so you never type your Amazon password into MiniTaka.

Before you start

  • You need the email and password for the Seller Central account you want to connect. Keep them handy in your own browser tab.
  • You should be the primary user or have admin rights on the account. A staff login with limited rights may not see the authorise screen.

Steps to connect

  • Open Settings, then Connections in MiniTaka and choose Amazon Seller.
  • Select your marketplace, for example Amazon.in, and continue. You are handed over to Seller Central to sign in.
  • On the Amazon consent screen, review the access being requested and choose Confirm. Amazon sends you back to MiniTaka and the connection turns green.
The first scan reads your last 90 days of orders and settlements. In a typical first scan this finishes within a few hours, and we email you when it is done.

If the connection fails

The most common cause is signing in to a different Amazon account than the one you meant to connect. Sign out of Amazon in that tab, start the flow again, and sign in with the correct seller login. If it still fails, send us a screenshot of the error and we will check the authorisation from our side.

Send a screenshot. Support has your account open already, so you do not have to explain it twice.
