Fees and settlements

Read the reconciliation

Updated 19 Aug 2026

Reconciliation is where MiniTaka lays your Amazon settlement next to Amazon's own published rates and shows the gap. It is the tool that turns a payout you cannot follow into a line-by-line story.

How to read the view

  • Expected fee. What Amazon's rate card says the referral, closing and weight fees should be for each order.
  • Charged fee. What the settlement report actually deducted.
  • Gap. The difference. A positive gap is money charged above the rate card, and is what you may be able to claim.

Where gaps come from

The usual culprits are a wrong weight slab, a referral fee taken at a higher category rate than your product sits in, and returns where the fee was not reversed. Each row links back to the exact order and the Amazon report it came from.

Reconciliation reads history only. It never changes a fee or files anything on its own. Raising a claim is a separate, deliberate step you take.
